Kvadrat Textiles
Color Strategy, Moodboarding and Concept Presentation
For the brands Vitra and Kvadrat, I developed a series of workshops designed to engage architects, designers and end users. The aim was to be more hands on, encouraging participants to think, reflect, create and heal for a larger purpose.
The workshops uncovered meaningful insights as well as prompted engaging questions. Some of which include:
Key Questions Explored:
Can future workplaces be borderless, fluid, and adaptable?
What if we worked in a maze? Inspired by Sylvain Willenz's Mizmaze for Kvadrat, concepts of infinity, symmetry, and balance emerged.
Can color and materials in public spaces aid in healing and combat loneliness?
How do fibers interact with other materials - metal, concrete, and wood? Which wear faster?
Takeaways that emerged:
Celebrating material transitions as reminders of change.
Honoring patchwork to preserve passed-down textiles and the value of repair.
Viewing objects as gateways to shared histories, urging us to pause in time.
